The Delta State Printing and Publishing Company, the Publisher of POINTER Newspaper is totally in a big mess.
How can it be said that for many decades that the company came into existence it has no premise of its own.
Since the inception of the company, it has been occupying a rented office compound. Its present compound was owned by the defunct Social Democratic Party. And the property has been sold out to an individual, who has also it to another individual.
A confirmed information reaching ZN’s news desk revealed it that the present owner of the property will quit the company from the building any moment from now, because he wants to make use of his property.
The company which has a low patronage and has been unable to meet up with the standard salary of good publishing outfit, required the assistance of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori. The Governor coming to the aid of the the company by building a structure of their own will go a long way adding credence to his government, because since the inception of the State no Governor has been able to do so.
The Governor should also set up investigation to find how the vast land allocated to the company by the State government, was secretly shared amongst politicians and public office holders, which some sold out their shares to public individuals.
